Dance Psychology Seminars

    Like its sister discipline of Sports Psychology, Dance Psychology has been making new research available to the Studio owner, Teachers and Dancers on some of the more important findings on how important psychological issues can affect dance performance.

    The seminar brings together these findings and techniques to enable teachers and dancers to fulfill their full potential as a dancer. It will breakdown this information in a easy, understandable way so that a teacher or dancer can apply this to their art. The seminar will cover issues such as motivation, confidence, intensity, dance imagery, concentration, slumps, stress, burnouts and discuss the psychology of rehabilitation of Dance injuries.   The seminar will discuss some of the underlining psychology issues that can affect these topics. There is a brief outline of the seminar on this website.

    This will be a great tool to add to your teaching or performance techniques. It will give you insight to some of the difficulties you may have faced and offer solutions that you can use.
